What is cms?

CMS is short for Content Management System and can be defined as...

"Software that enables one to add and / or manipulate content on a Web site."

When you need to update or revise your web site, instead of contacting your web designer you simply log in to your own private administration area and update your web pages online, all by yourself, whenever you feel like it.

For example, on this site simply press the "admin" link on the menu on the right and log in to the administration area with the following details:
